Gravimetric MicroBlender
  • offers pneumatic valves operating in conjunction with advanced software to deliver actual batch accuracy of (0.1%)
  • includes the unique Micro-Pulse technology, which virtually eliminates the need for augers to achieve accuracy when dispensing minor ingredients;  Micro-Pulse gives you the capability of dispensing as few as 2 or 3 pellets per pulse cycle
  • totally pneumatic system eliminates motors which reduces the weight of the blender to 50 lb. (22.7 kg); The unit is just under 2 feet high and has a 6 in. x 6 in. footprint
  • each of the 4 removable bins contains a pneumatic quick disconnect for fast removal, cleaning, and replacement when changing colors of materials
  • weigh pan and mix chamber are easily accessed through a removable door - mix chamber agitator is permanently attached to the door and uncouples from the drive mechanism when the door is removed which renders the agitator inoperable when the machine is opened and eliminates the need for electrical interlocks

WSB-140R

Gravimetric 100 Series Blenders
  • practical and affordable means for molders and extruders with small processing equipment to blend color or additives with extremely high precision
  • unit weighs and blends up to four components at rates up to 450 lbs/hr (204 kg/hr)
  • Micro-Pulse™ metering device with a unique slide gate apparatus attached to a pneumatic cylinder with a very short (0.125 in.) stroke; cylinder is rapidly and sequentially pulsed up to 20 times per second during dispensing of the ingredient, permitting very precise total doses
  • self-calibrating, never needs adjustment for accuracy, and achieves an overall precision of 0.1% of specified blend
  • proprietary microprocessor-control technology monitors and confirms the individual weight of each material component (natural, regrind, color, and additive); any variation that may have occurred in the actual weights of any components is detected and compensated for
  • the 100R series blender includes a two-compartment stationary bin for natural resin and regrind, along with two smaller removable bins a huge benefit for processors with frequent product or color changes which could easily and quickly empty and refill the removable bins
