Expandable surge bins from Novatec integrate into central conveying systems

 

The Novatec MSB series Modular Surge Bins, in capacities 30-70 cu ft (850-1980 liters), provide expandable material storage space for quick and easy integration into a central conveying system. The bins can be easily expanded with a 12-inch high section, or 24-inch high section, to increase volume from 30 cu ft. to 50 or 70 cu ft.

 

The MSB units have 60-degree cone angles to accommodate materials with various flow characteristics. Material of construction is rugged carbon steel with powder coat paint on both interior and exterior surfaces. The bin accommodates a loader or receiver capacity up to 3 cu ft. The units are sized by useable volume, based on actual material loading capacity, not theoretical capacity based on air volume.

 

Standard features include a 4-inch diameter sight glass and 1.25 NPT couplings for level sensing, along with a 9- by 12-inch inspection hatch. The discharge opening is 12 by 12 inches and discharge clearance is 20 inches. The hole to mount the loader is 12 inches in diameter. An adapter plate may be required for specific bolt-hole patterns.

 

Units are available quickly. Unassembled models are shipped immediately from stock. Assembled versions are shipped in 1 to 2 weeks.
